Hey everybody, its Toni. I hope you had a fantastic day so far! As far as we know for sure, we only have today and we only have one life to live, so I'm sure you have heard many people say live each day to the fullest; but what does that really mean?
Yes, it's true thousands of people (depending on where you live) will go to sleep tonight and not wake up tomorrow that is true - sorry to be morbid; but it’s the truth. So lets have fun today, because tomorrow may never come. Right? Unfortunately, many people especially young people take this to mean shirking their responsibilities or they are so overwhelmed they just avoid taking any meaningful actions from day to day.
Or there are others who are so nervous about being prepared for tomorrow they forget to enjoy today.
So who is right?
And before I forget, if you currently find yourself in either of these camps - completely disengaged from your career and your life or you are working like crazy but you are too exhausted for anything outside your current career path I have put a link in the post:

Ok, so who is right?
Yes people die everyday, but many many many more people will not. So if you are neglecting your future needs and wants your future self is probably going to want to shake some sense in to you. But if you are working like crazy in your Career without any balance; neglecting your health and your relationships that not success and happiness either.
So what should we do?
Lets talk about a few solutions to help us embrace today, but also support our dreams and aspirations for the future.
First, have a Supportive Morning Routine. If you have seen my videos before, I am a huge proponent of a supportive morning routine which creates positive momentum for your day. Make sure you are accomplishing things which are important to you first thing in the morning.
You know what happens when you say, oh I'll do it after work, and by the end of the day you're too tired or you forget. So if its important to you make sure to include it in the first hour of your day. Always make time for what is important; and the beginning of the day is best if it makes sense.
Also, you will be amazed at what you can accomplish in a few hours at the beginning of the day if you stick to the plan before distractions arise at work.
Second, Visualize. This might sound like hocus pocus, but researchers say our brain and body do not know the difference between something we are visualizing and reality. So not only can you use visualization to calm your stress during a few quiet minutes during your morning routine; but you can also use visualization to help you be more intentional and productive at work or in your relationships increasing your odds of accomplishing what you intended because you have clarity and are focused.
Third, Gratitude and Adaptability. We may not be able to control what goes on throughout the day, but no matter what if we remember how much we have to be grateful for, focus on remaining positive and rolling with challenges as they come up we will not only keep our productivity up but also our energy and our joy.
As you probably know I like throwing in a Bonus - we all know there are not enough hours in the day to do everything. So always look at what you think you should be doing and ask yourself is this really a high priority? If I have a list of 25 things to do today, but I can only do 5 - which 5 support and contribute to my growth and overall long-term happiness?
Nothing should get your precious time and focus if it doesn’t contribute to your growth, happiness - if it doesn’t improve your relationships, if it doesn’t help you create more freedom. We may not love going to work everyday, but does it pave the way for more freedom? If we're doing it right the answer should be yes.
